This episode of GMW-TV aired on August 8, 2002.

The program opened this week with a comprehensive look back at the breakup of longtime friends Debonair Cruz and Fred Curry. Clips were shown of the match held in Littleton, NH when Cruz and Curry took on The Egomaniacs. Ironically, Curry and Cruz have not been at the same GMW event at the same time since "A Fight at the Opera". GMW President Sean O' Reilly has been looking to sign a match between these two bitter rivals for months. Hopefully, The Prez can make it happen for the live GMW event coming to Lyndon Center, VT on September 14th!

GMW-TV Host Lou Bordeaux and color commentator Ron Lemieux were ringside opening this week's show when Fred Curry, Jr. came to ringside and interrupted them. Showing more of his grandfather, legendary "Wild Bull" Curry than his more "fan friendly" father "Flying" Fred, Curry went off like a time bomb. He wanted to know where Cruz was. He berated all of the competition here in GMW. He then issued an open challenge to any of the wrestlers at the GMW dojo.

In no time at all, talented newcomer Allen Greene answered Curry's challenge. Despite the best efforts of this up and coming star, Curry won by pinfall. With barely enough time to catch his breath, GMW Senior Official Josh Laprell called for the bell as soon as "Rock and Roll" Mark Vincent came to the ring. Suddenly it appeared as if this would be a Gauntlet Match! Curry employing plenty of ring psychology and stalling tactics finally got in the ring with the fresh Vincent. Ultimately Curry was able to put away the rock and roller from Detroit with a top rope dropkick. As soon as Vincent was able to leave the ring, in came "Rapid Fire" Brian Jury! Jury, returning to GMW after a brief absence, gave the tiring Curry all he could handle and more! Just when it looked like Jury would get the victory, Curry maneuvered Jury from a full nelson into what can only be called a Slingshot Flapjack, as Curry whipped "Rapid Fire" face first into the canvas for the one, two, three! Nobody else came out to answer the challenge of a very angry Fred Curry, Jr.

Up next, one half of the GMW Tag Team Champion SouthEast Connection "The Dude" Mark Malibu, answered the open contract challenge of another game newcomer, "Radical Rob". Despite some great moves and a nice effort, the newcomer went down to defeat as Malibu put him away with a devastating spinebuster for the pin.

In this week's TV Main Event, the King of the Mountain TV Championship was on the line as the titleholder "Golden Greek" Alex Arion took on "The Alpha Male" Justin Powers. Powers has been complaining to the Championship Committee here in GMW for weeks that he deserves a shot at Arion's title. He had his opportunity this week on GMW-TV! Late in the match as both men were wearing down, so too was the ring! A high velocity Irish Whip into the corner saw the top turnbuckle give way. Shortly thereafter, with one less weapon in his arsenal, Powers fell victim to "The Golden Greek". Alex Arion remains the GMW King of the Mountain TV Champion!
