This week's GMW-TV show aired September 5, 2002

This week's edition of GMW-TV opened with a look back at last week's heinous actions of Antonio Thomas. Thomas as you may recall was teaming with Kid Mikaze and "The Dude" Mark Malibu in a handicap match against "No Respect" Aaron Morrison. Morrison despite being the winner of this website's recent "Most Popular" poll once again displayed the actions that solidify him as anything but most popular. Midway into the match as Thomas tagged in, he and Morrison looked at one another and then suddenly, it was attack time as The SouthEast Connection were simply whipping boys for Morrison and Thomas. The two villains then were interviewed by GMW-TV host Lou Bordeaux. Both men claimed to have earned a tag title match at "Unlikely Alliances", coming to Lyndon Center, VT on Saturday September 14th at 7PM. Just last week these two men hated each other. Now they are indeed an "Unlikely Alliance"!

After a short break, there was a look at the impressive careers of The SouthEast Connection, Kid Mikaze and Mark Malibu. These two have stood up to the toughest competition Green Mountain Wrestling has offered. And don't forget, the "SEC" won those tag titles by beating none other than The Egomaniacs! After a look at the highlight package it was interview time for Mikaze and Malibu. Both men claimed that it was reprehensible the way their former training partner and former friend Thomas laid them out to join forces with Aaron Morrison. Both also said that at "Unlikely Alliances" that they would remain the GMW Tag Team Champions.

Kid Mikaze then got in the ring to square off against Flying Frankie. This was a terrific match between two cruiserweights, and both showed some great offensive moves. The end came for the less experienced Frankie when Mikaze delivered his patented sit out springboard moonsault for the victory. After the match was over, both men shook hands in a great display of sportsmanship.

The "Special Features" department of GMW-TV had their hands full this week, as up next was another highlight package. This time the focus was on the GMW Women's Champion, Trinity H. Campbell. While Campbell borders on the eccentric, nobody can dispute the fact that she has been wildly successful in the GMW Women's division. Just as the website was being updated, the GMW office has announced Trinity Campbell's opponent for "Unlikely Alliances". GMW newcomer, Talia, will square off against Campbell for the prestigious GMW Women's Championship. Talia has wrestled just about everywhere in New England with the exception of Vermont. We'll have more news on Talia and her challenge for the title in future updates.

Ron Lemieux then interviewed Fred Curry, Jr. Curry has been looking (according to him) for Debonair Cruz for over 5 months. He's finally going to put Cruz out once and for all when the two collide at "Unlikely Alliances".

"Rapid Fire" Brian Jury then took on the Texas Hangman #2. Jury was giving away about 75 pounds in weight to the big man from the Lone Star State. In the end, Jury's speed and stamina proved too much for the big man as Jury took the victory after a reverse neckbreaker.

The program ended this week with an interview with "The Alpha Male" Justin Powers. Powers has signed an open contract for "Unlikely Alliances" and claims that he will beat any GMW wrestler that he opposes in Lyndon Ctr. Powers' logic? In his own words, " 'cause I'm better than YOU!" And with that...

That's all for this week. Tune in again next week and catch the action of Green Mountain Wrestling!
