This episode of GMW-TV show aired September 19, 2002
This week's edition of GMW-TV opened with a look back at the end of last week's show. As you'll remember, the show ended with a strange, "take no prisoners" kind of old school, ass kicking attack on the unsuspecting GMW locker room.
As Ron Lemieux opened the telecast, the missing piece of the puzzle is uncovered when we're told about what happened at "Unlikely Alliances" as the unthinkable has happened with the return to Green Mountain Wrestling of the New York Posse!!!
This week's edition of GMW-TV then became a welcome back of sorts for the NYP. There was an interview segment with the Posse, following that a tag match from 1998 featuring The Mercenary teaming with fellow NYP member, Curtis Slamdawg (both men former GMW Champions) taking on the challenge of "Real Deal" Joel Davis and Donnie Rotten. Despite their questionable tactics, Davis and Rotten were no match on this occasion for the power of the Posse!
Up next was a look at the exploits of the Posse through 1999 and 2000, when they unceremoniously were dumped from the roster of GMW. The Posse vowed then that they would be back, and although many insiders never thought that would be the case, they've indeed come roaring back with a vengeance!
Then, it was back to the archives as Ron Zombie took on perpetual whipping boy Donnie Rotten. To nobody's surprise, all hell broke loose resulting in a double DQ. After the match, there were more highlights of the NYP through the years here and abroad. Finishing up this strange edition of GMW-TV was the brains behind the brawn, Marvin Minkler cutting loose on the departed GMW officials who ran the Posse out of town. Further he added that the Posse would personally hold accountable anybody left from that regime!
