This week's GMW-TV show aired September 26, 2002

This week's edition of GMW-TV presented an in depth look at what can only be described as "The Night Green Mountain Wrestling Changed Forever". The one and only match on this week's program was the ill fated main event from the recently held "Unlikely Alliances" from the Fenton Chester Arena in Lyndon Center. The GMW office had ordered this match where Maverick Wild was forced to team with longtime nemesis Jonny Idol. Squaring off against them were Alex Arion and Mike Steele. We don't need to get into the long term animosity these "teammates" had for each other.

The match started off slowly as Idol and Arion locked up. It took neither a great amount of time, nor a rocket scientist to figure out that Idol and Steele have been a tag team together for far too long to let the desires of the front office get in the way of their agenda. In no time flat, Idol had worked Arion toward his corner when Mike Steele laid a heavy forearm smash to the back and ribs of Arion. Unfortunately, this was merely a precursor of the rest of the contest.

Maverick Wild, the consummate professional of the foursome, held nothing back. He teamed with Idol as if they had been tag partners for years! Wild also held nothing back against his frequent foe, Arion. These two have been feuding all over the northeast for the last six months and both of their competitive spirits lit up the ring!

Later in the bout, after more double teaming efforts on the part of The Egomaniacs, the action had spilled to the outside of the ring. Suddenly, both Lou Bordeaux and Ron Lemieux were distracted as their color commentator for the evening, Sean Ryan, was yanked from his seat and tossed headfirst into the timekeeper's table! The culprit? None other than Marvin Minkler! Minkler has been absent from GMW for the better part of two years. Minkler made himself at home at the commentator's area.

It was then as the four combatants in the main event battled all over the floor and out the back door of the arena, a wide camera shot caught two men walking towards the ring. Armed with chairs and a ladder, it was Curtis Slamdawg and Ron Zombie...THE NEW YORK POSSE!!!

The crowd in attendance were shocked as well as amazed at the return of these two legendary grapplers. Slamdawg then told a tale of recent negotiations with the GMW office, culminating in the re-emergence of the NYP here tonight! GMW owner Gary Langevin then made his way into the ring with the contracts in hand. After perusing the documents, both Slamdawg and Zombie signed on the dotted line, guaranteeing their future here in GMW!

However, if you remember back to the Posse's last appearance in GMW, there was a bit of bad blood that needed to be settled. Like a flash, Slamdawg and Zombie grabbed Langevin and hoisted him high for what looked to be a suplex, but instead the Posse smashed Langevin face first on the mat. To add insult to injury, Slamdawg then whipped Gary with a chain!

After their actions, the two returned to ringside to speak to Lou Bordeaux. The Posse asserted itself as the once and future dominant force in professional wrestling, and they claimed that what happened tonight was simply the tip of the iceberg! Fittingly, an exasperated Bordeaux closed the show with a "God help us all!"

That's all for this week. Tune in again next week and catch the action of Green Mountain Wrestling!
