"Wrong Way"
Johnny Royal

One of the most promising careers in our sport was cut short, at least temporarily, in 2002. After a long and enjoyable career as a fan favorite, Johnny Royal fell under the spell of his cousin, Aaron Morrison. The rest is, as they say, history. The details remain sketchy to this day about how Morrison brought Royal back into the family fold after the two had apparently went their separate ways back in 2001. What the fans on Green Mountain Wrestling saw in Johnny Royal in no way resembled the man that they had grown to know and love. Royal had become near-maniacal in many ways, not the least of which had become a sudden obsession for pizza and dancing. In a memorable interview, GMW host Lou Bordeaux was trying to get comments from Royal concerning an upcoming streetfight match. Unfortunately, Royal had confused "streetfight" with "pillowfight". In the days leading up to "United We Slam", there was speculation that Royal had come under a doctor's much needed care. Finally at "United We Slam", Aaron Morrison made an announcement to the crowd that his cousin Johnny, was indeed institutionalized. It's been several months since we've had an update on Royal's condition. Whenver we get more information on his depraved mental state, we'll post it here on his page. Until then, classify "Wrong Way" Johnny Royal as...

CURRENTLY INSTITUTIONALIZED!
