This week's GMW-TV show aired May 9, 2002

The show opened this week with a look back at Tarzan Taylor's attack on Jeff Goodspeed from last week's show. The TV Main Event this week will feature Taylor and Goodspeed!

After some brief comments by the "Alpha Male" Justin Powers, he got into the ring to take on "Turbo" Tim Fury. This was a tremendous match with both young men trading amateur take downs, arm drags, drop toe holds...a little bit of everything. Powers shifted his focus to Fury's knee. After many near falls, the time limit expired and the result was a 10 minute time limit draw.

"Big Daddy" Dave Walker was up next facing newcomer "Real Deal" Reid Davenport. GMW President, Sean O' Reilly serving as color commentator this week made the comparison of Dave Walker to a young Stan Hansen. High praise indeed for "Big Daddy"! Walker proved to be more than Davenport could handle and earned the three count after a tremendous Spinning Fireman's Carry Suplex.

Next, an angry Tarzan Taylor stated that the upcoming match between him and Jeff Goodspeed wouldn't be a scientific wrestling match. In fact, Taylor said that it would be a flat out brawl, plain and simple. True to his word, both big men traded series of blows throughout most of the match. The action spilled to the outside of the ring as well! Late in the match as Jeff went for a back bodydrop of the 260 pound former GMW Champion, Goodspeed's knee gave way and Taylor rolled to the outside while Jeff tried desperately to make his blown out knee work. When Taylor climbed back into the ring, he immediately Taylor Bombed Goodspeed for the pinfall victory. In true Dickinson's Army fashion, Taylor continued his attack on his defeated opponent. Finally Sonny Goodspeed ran from the backstage area to the ring to help his brother.
