This week's GMW-TV show aired May 30, 2002

This week's edition of Green Mountain Wrestling TV started with a look back to last week's main event featuring the Champion vs. Champion contest between GMW Champion, Maverick Wild and the GMW King of the Mountain TV Champion, "Golden Greek" Alex Arion. The match ended up as a "no contest" when "Irresistible" Jonny Idol ran in and attacked Maverick Wild, while Idol's partner Mike Steele attacked Alex Arion. Arion then commented that he was having the match of his life, when The Egomaniacs ran in and ruined it. The TV Champion then issued a challenge to Mike Steele for the GMW King of the Mountain TV title at the upcoming United We Slam coming to Newport, VT on Saturday June 29th.

The first match this week featured Mean Biggie Greene taking on Johnny Curtis. Curtis had the early advantage here, as his agility was a little more than Greene expected. Ultimately though, Greene's power took over and he was able to put Curtis away with his Biggie Slam.

This week's TV main event featured a four way tag team elimination match, where anybody could tag in anybody else. This one was total mayhem from the start! The participants in this one were: Aaron Morrison & Johnny Royal, Sonny & Jeff Goodspeed, The Texas Hangmen and The SouthEast Connection. Order of elimination was:
The Goodspeed's
The Texas Hangmen
SouthEast Connection

The winners of the match and now the #1 contenders for the GMW Tag Team Titles, "No Respect" Aaron Morrison and "Wrong Way" Johnny Royal. The victory was not without controversy though, as the end saw Mark Malibu and Morrison both hook each other looking to suplex one another. Royal was on the outside, and hooked Malibu's leg so that Morrison fell on top to "The Dude" for the pinfall.
